It depends on size and roof type, but most projects run from a few days for a straightforward lean-to to a few weeks for a full P-shaped build with a warm roof.
Do I need planning permission?
Most conservatories fall under permitted development, but it depends on your property and its size — Dan will tell you plainly if yours needs planning permission before any work starts.
What's a 'warm roof' and do I need one?
A tiled warm roof insulates like a normal roof, so the room stays usable in winter rather than being a fair-weather extension. It costs more than glass or polycarbonate, but changes how much you actually use the space.
